About TICASHOWBIZ...

TICASHOWBIZ is a whole new way of managing the entry clerking process.  By using an online relational database structure, it allows exhibitors to input their cats' information directly into the system.  It can also be used by an entry clerk with traditional online submit forms or paper forms.  Most shows use a combination.  The online exhibitor interface reduces the odds of typographical errors and saves time for the entry clerk, allowing him or her to focus on managing the entries rather than data entry.  This is especially beneficial during that crucial 'last week crush' when a multitude of entries arrive in a few days' time.


Once a cat is entered in the database, it can be entered in other shows with just a few clicks by either an entry clerk or the exhibitor -- no more retyping!


Because the database is not located on the entry clerk's computer, it doesn't need to be 'installed' and is safe from viruses (computer or biological), hard drive crashes, and other technical glitches.  The only software the entry clerk needs to load locally is for printing the judges' books.  In case of an emergency, the entry clerk can give their ID and password to someone else to take over with no need to transfer additional data.  The entry clerk may also share their ID and password with show management, allowing them to check on counts and other important information without bothering the entry clerk.


What exhibitors can do:
- Complete the summary sheet (required before entering)

What entry clerks can do:

- Entry Clerks are required to have minimum computer skills, click here to see minimum computer skills
- Enter/modify exhibitor & cat data

- Validate entries against TICA's show rules, registration rules & Uniform Color Descriptions

- Send confirmations

- Track & adjust financials

- View/print summary of entries (cats, cages)

- View/print financial summary by exhibitor

- View/print show counts

- View/print benching worksheet (including breed(s) being shown and clerking information)

- Run catalog at any time during the entry process for proofing

- Print judges books (separate printing software will be mailed to the EC to format the data properly)

- Print clerk/master clerk catalog

- Print catalog labels for check-in

- Accept late entries as needed


Pricing:
The charge to use the program for a standard 2-day show (up to 14 rings) is $75, with nominal additional fees for congresses and 3-day shows and special format shows.

How to get started:
If you'd like to use TICASHOWBIZ for your next show, please contact Jean Hannum (Khamsin_abys@sbcglobal.net) to get started.  Jean will send you our Service Agreement to complete and return to her with either a copy of your flier (electronic files preferable) or a link to your online flier, if it includes fees for the summary page. When the Agreement is received, Jean will get your show set up and send a userid/password to the entry clerk to allow access to the software.
